Astro Aphid

By PWR on April 15, 2012 10:00 pm

Astro Aphids, they fly through space searching for small bits of debris to hang onto.  Upon finding one they latch on and colonize.  They are harmless. An asteroid infested with them glows green-blue in the night sky; bringing comfort to the lonely astronaut.

I'm pretty happy with this track, I am trying to get into more complex percussion so this is the the start of that.  Also: Glitches.

Sounds very space-like. I like it a lot! You're really pretty great at capturing a certain feel into a song. Also, nice job with the synths, like usual smile

agreed. those synths are perfect. i feel like that explanation and the track itself just complement each other so well. You couldn't have one without the other.

I like that talking bass sound. Also that sampled voice is cool. Nice work! smile

I really like the woody synths at the beginning.  Definitely captured the feel you were going for.  I kinda felt like I was playing asteroids.

I would like an astro aphid for a pet after listening to this. Bravo!

I rather enjoyed this piece. It had a great atmosphere.
