it's the annoying chromatic harmonica from the nothern exposure teevee show theme song.
all of the sounds were generated using only that short harmonica phrase.
i was thinking about the inception soundtrack and how they simply slowed down a few notes from "Non je ne regrette rien" by Edith Piaf. Completed in about two hours. mostly within .XM limitations

Cool track! I like the glitch sounds and that it's pretty fast! It also tries stuff out yet keeps the same main idea throughout, it's pretty interesting to hear.

Is it really true? All sounds are from that same sample? It does sound like a moo sometimes (don't think a moose says moo but I could be wrong). Very nice sound design in any case!

That's the rules of https://ironchefofmusic.com :]

To get some of the percussive sounds, various pitch and filter envelopes are applied.

To get the "moo" sound, I think it's an overdriven bandpass filter.

cool! thanks for the ICOM link again, I overlooked it. Sounds like a cool challenge, gonna keep an eye on it!

this is really cool, love the glitch beats!!

Ha, my parents had this soundtrack and used to listen to it ALL THE TIME. Pretty funny hearing the theme all mangled like this.

Hahahahaha nice! Turned out well

Always expect a skillfully done track from you:) good stuff
