I had all sorts of plans for week 52, but my MS had other plans. I’ve barely managed to push out these last 4x weeks as a result, but I did it. I sobbed my way through writing this, but I did it. 52 weeks, 52 tracks. Now I rest while I try to figure out my new normal.

This is all OPXY, mastered in Logic as usual. In the end across these 52 weeks I only managed a single song with all the pieces of the puzzle in place. January I’ll hopefully get everything humming and compile these 52 tracks into my first album. Find me on discord if you’re interested in keeping up. I also (very) occasionally post on YouTube and Instagram.

This year I’ve released more (and better) music than my entire music career combined. Quantity over quality all day every day. To those I know are listening; I didn’t do this for you, but you made it worth every hour spent troubleshooting the OPZ or trashing everything I had on Sunday afternoon. I don’t know what I’ll do without that little dopamine rush of a new comment or just the general discourse of how others are getting through the year.

Lovely simple sounds, channeling that bittersweet feeling just right. And the chord change!!! Ugh so satisfying!! Awesome bass and those little textural elements are perfect. Like a small pot of water gently boiling. Congrats to ending the year on such a beautiful note. Hope to hear more from you in the future :')

Beautiful track, I really enjoyed the sparse but expressive soundscape and the interplay between each instrument.  Loved the bass and the trilly FX especially.

Ambient on OPXY? And why not! Sounds immersive and calming, almost a drone. A fantastic way to end WB24. Something I attempted to do myself, but then I went and overdid it somewhat. You stuck to your guns there and the track is better for it. The space between the notes is appreciated.

Congratulations on keeping the streak alive! Especially despite your health issues. I've had some myself, but it's nothing compared to what you're going through. I'm very sorry to hear about MS, I hope you keep fighting and that 2025 treats you well.
