Inertia

I’m OPZ-less for a while, so I have to make do.  Also took the entire week off just like last week. Getting back in the saddle proved tricky. Don’t lose your momentum!

Grandmother on drone, tr8 for percussion, Neo Soul Studio 2 for the keys (for ease of programming), x0xb0x on the syncopated bass, poison 202 for the rolling bass, and the tt303 providing light background acid. Only FX are Intellijel Sealegs and some light filtering. Produced/mixed/mastered all in Logic for iPad.

when you hear the 303 snaking in, it's almost nautical how you've layered the different parts in. do you live near water? or get to look out over the water occasionally? it has that sort of vibe to me.

rad track, just start the next one right now like some kind of techno-chainsmoker, light the next track with the smoldering embers of the current one lol.

Super strong opening.  The melody is super catchy.  I really love the drums on this track too.  Awesome track.

Reeeeally enjoyed this one! The opening feels super ominous and dark. Like it's preparing you for something you fundamentally cannot prepare for. Overall really fun!!! Also, I hope you get access to your op-z soon!!!

It's pretty eerie at the beginning when there's just drums, the syncopated bass, and the guitar. Sounds desolate. When the gooey acid comes in the mood shifts but the feeling is still quite somber... and then the haunting theme returns! Not a happy track, but I do like it.
