week six! this week i remixed one of my cousin's great tracks from his ongoing electronic project. this is a good one for headphones.

used: ableton live, mopho keyboard, volca keys, memory man, tambourine

check christopher larose out on soundcloud to hear the original.
also, check him out right here on weeklybeats!

really like the leads that come in around 3/4 of the way in.

the beginning sounds like something that could've been on the legend of dragoon ost. that synth that comes in past the middle caught me off guard in the best possible way, man. i always look forward to hearing your sounds each week, hehe.

sooooo chill... time to mellow out

Your really good and lushing it up

I agree with Nickmaynard and checkTHISprivilege... The lead synth is super mellow and gives the final touch to the track. Is it the Mopho? Guess the Volca is making the arpeggios...

Great work, as usual!

thanks! the lead sound is indeed the mopho. volca is on arp duty, plus some of the analog chords sitting in the back during the built up portions.

very nice indeed! The built up is awesome. Very tasteful!

Precious Kindred at it again! These are some top-notch, high-class, love-making grooves you got going on.

so fucking tight. you have this great way of getting these very sampled-sounding textures with completely analog means, and I LOVE THAT

in this case, a bunch of the texture is samples! every sound you hear until the synth arpeggios start coming in (about 1/4 way through) is pulled from the stems of the original track. but the thick parts with the looser feel are definitely chock full of analog.

but i'm specifically referring to the mopho and volca! yikes

thanks man smile i do love them dearly. would only let go of the mopho if it was to hop up to the x4 version.

Fantastic remix, preciouskindred! So well done. I always enjoy your stuff.

Geat sounds, super smooth and in part delicate. Great work!

Oh man... when it gets going it's simply wonderful.

thank you friends smile

yea what they said smile the leads are really cool and that arp that comes in and just spins around the track is awesome! Also I really like that snap/clap sorta sound. The lead towards the end plays well off of the arp too.  Really cool track & another job well done! smile

This is so deep and full of living, breathing texture - your tracks have a seriously hypnotic effect on me! This reminds me of some of the more eerie, trance-like tracks on the Amiga Ghouls and Ghosts soundtrack - obscure I know, but check out the music to level 3 if you can find it big_smile

Love that bass laying in the back.. like it how the build toward the end turn things a bit dramatic.

super smooth and nice. love it!
