## WEEK SEVEN ##

week seven! another little post-rocky kinda guy. life was busy this week, so this one came together in about four hours. hope you enjoy it anyway!

used: p-bass, telecaster, mopho keyboard, volca keys, memory man, ableton live

hated the drums at first, but they really do compliment everything else in the mix. outstanding job, i love this so much.

Great writing, the guitars sound awesome

This is sweeet! I really love the guitar and bass. Let's get the band together. : )

Relaxing =]

cool

you on swole for these weeklybeats dude

Are those sparkles of Mogwai in your chord changes?. Definetely feeling a more crude mix, but I think it fits the track context. Memory Mans (and Boys) are super fun to use, I always plug mine to my Meeblip output, to "warm things a bit".

Are the drums real or looped?. I made very simple acoustic drum tracks in a cheap rehearsing space every two or three months and fit them in some productions little edits, and wonder if you maybe used a similar approach.

Nice effort. You made good use of those four hours

thanks man. i'll admit i'm not 100% happy with the drums, they probably suffered from the time restraint the most. but as time ran down, i could only tweak so much. i think they're an okay fit with the rest once it's all said and done.

i am a big mogwai fan, so i'm sure it inspired me on some level. these drums are from ableton, played on the push. i actually do play drums, but alas i sold my kit last time i moved since i needed some extra cash, and i didn't want to keep paying for my rehearsal space. hoping to buy a house in the next year or two, at which point i'm definitely getting another little 4-piece kit.

i'm in. i miss playing in a band.

Awesome opening at about 1/3. The energy behind this is astounding! Very well done!

def agree with the other comments, it has a mogwai-like feel to it and i like when it opens up with the synth and cymbals. Well done! *sways to the beat*

yes

This is so nice. I like the floating atmosphere you've got going. Nice guitar and arrangements!

ah, sweet melancholy. missed connections, bittersweet remembrances. raw. nice'n'moody tune this week!

Epic as hell! Shades of Tortoise, which delights me so smile

i love tortoise so much, one of my favorite acts. last time i saw them was in a little local 100-person club, i was right up on the stage in front of john mcentire's kit smile

The p-bass stands out very well in the mix.
I love your telecaster sounds (in like every track you've made!)
