This is lovely. Puts me in mind of New Buffalo, but more minimal.

Is that the sound of the pedals from the piano you can hear? Love the organic sound of this track and especially the piano, it sounds like it's right here in this the room! 
(Oh, btw I borrowed your gif for my week 3 track thread since it was mentioned, hope that's ok )
They have some really nice piano lines / chords in some of their middle era stuff (fragile etc).
I didn't pick the NIN connection, but I was transported to somewhere incredible whilst listening.
