Awesome! This is great - and agreed collaborating over a time difference sucks balls! Worth it for a track like this though!
hoo boy, this is loud! it is interesting though. could use a little more depth I guess, but maybe you were not going for that. reminds me a bit of prefuse 73, old Tricky, and drum and bass music, while sounding totally fresh.
...idevourstatix is a horrid person and should be exercised like a malignant odour...
But for serious this is sounding bew-tay-full, I need an adult to help me upload my excerts - as I went sleepy and didn't manage to upload.
Fantastic, Poppi. Love the vocal part, and that left channel spatalisation - awesome. And the right. Maybe I'm alone in this, but I *love* accidental overdrive in the small doses that this piece has. I think they genuinely add to the sound.
Great track. Your voice always seems to slip so nicely into mixes whether it's noise/beats or ambient. The peaks in the quiet section is the worst of it mix-wise really. I dig the wall of sound for the other sections. Nice trip at the end.
