Just Like This

This is a song about making a songs. It's also the first track I created on the EP-133 KO2. I also used a Korg MS2000b for some of the synth sound and a SP-404 mkii for vocal effects. All the scratches are from a vinyl record called Tubby the Tuba performed by the Calvin College Band. I put it all together in Logic.
Lyrics:
Yo check it out I’m passing time
With every tick that goes by I make it mine
I make it, I play it, I say it, I relay it.
Loops on repeat it’ll could never end.
Feedback feedback in your ears
Eardrums eardrums beating, its weird.
All the notes you can hear.
Listen up listen up its all so clear.
Why would you do it like that?
Why not do it like this?
Why not do it just like this?
Acoustic guitars, synthesizers,
Xylophones, and pedal boards.
Lots of wire, but it gets the job done,
Drum machines and full on kits.
Autoharps, and harpsichords,
Decks, effects, and 909s.
808s 303s Sounds like just music to me.
Bongo, and trumpets, and fuzzy bass.
Sequencers click to keep it in place.
Record to tape. digitize that, add a drum track with an open hat
and a kick and a hat and a kick and a snare.
Put on repeat and listen to what you hear.
You better say something, and you better make it good.
Pic up the mic like you know you should!
