The first sounds of the track made me think "John Carpenter" but then you turned into an entirely different territory. Unlike in Tristan's case, to me the plucks aren't soothing, but rather they are the hyperactive contrast to the soothing beat of the bass.

As others have said, that's a great use of the pluck synth and not like anything I've heard before. I also love how complete the track feels, despite being so minimal
