my family and I tested positive for covid this week (omicron, surely), including the 3 year old, so things have been a struggle. thankfully my wife and I are double vaxxed + boosted, so while my wife is experiencing a few issues they're milder than they would have been, and I just had a few days of mild sickness and body aches. the toddler is asymptomatic, but we're keeping him away from preschool until he tests negative out of proper caution. I have a lot of spicy thoughts about all of this that probably don't belong here, but suffice to say we seem to be doing alright.

the track this week was made in M8 Tracker. the sample used for the melody line was the same as a sample from the previous week, "nightly", but is used in a radically different way. some additional samples from the ending of Metropolis (the 2001 anime film, not the 1927 Fritz Lang film).
