on the night of january 20, 2024, a reckless driver totaled my car and shattered some of my bones, leaving about 30% of my body broken. i'm in the long process of recovery. this is my musical feeling / psychological exorcism of lying in the street in enormous pain immediately after the crash, feeling confused, disoriented, helpless, and unsafe while kind and unkind strangers hovered around me moving and speaking words; and being on strong drugs in the hospital for days afterward, drifting in and out of sleep, pondering ego death.
