Walking Into the Black (Decomposition No. 1)

Previously on survivor! Nah well previously on Podling Weeklybeats, I experimented with blindfolded piano. This time I took it a step further; blindfolded with no audio. The main 7 min approx. segment of this piece is my first attempt at the experiment. (The identical intro/outro is from my second attempt).

My first attempt I had no idea what it would turn out like so I feel it had a better outcome. My second attempt, once listening back, I found it was forced and could hear myself pushing to try and make it more impressive melodically, structurally and technically than my previous attempt (except for the intro/outro which I really like).

I like introducing elements of randomness and chance in sometimes, also.  I have to say I wouldn't have guessed there was any chance elements to this just by listening.  It sounds purposeful and pretty.
