Satellite V-57

Started with finding some two cool samples (spacey mellow electric guitar) and pitched/manipulated/looped. Then found a scale that matched and played a few minutes worth on the keyboard, looped a section. Dusted off the old SX-150 synth and played/recorded a full section messing with the cutoff/res and then LFO depth/rate. Then I thought some spoken word may be the cherry on top and recorded myself reading a story that I wrote a while back. I ended up singing sections of the story and got a snippet of the singing and reversed/added-fx/looped...  . .. Peace!

Also made a video... enjoy!

Excellent!!!  Has same vibes as Eno etc on the album Apollo... which is a very big compliment from my viewpoint smile

Your command of the materials is awesome. Agree with the Apollo comment.

So serene. I remember doing that voice trick back when, such a nice cheat it is.

I’m truly blown away with the talent and skill of people on this site, not only a great piece of music but the video works so well with this, great job!

Lots of tension in the sustained hum and drone, but also a peacefulness. One sounds alternates between whale song and saw and then cello. Cool video!

I remember commenting on this but for some reason it looks like it didn't show up. I thought the moonscsapes in the video matched the track perfectly.
