Earlier this week recorded an instrumental piano piece that I wanted to refine, but come yesterday was having Pro Tools licensing issues (we all been there right?), so worked on a new piece. I came up with another instrumental piece, but then tried something else and started playing the chords in this song. Then came up with a vocal melody, then stopped and wrote lyrics...

I didn't have a means to record so thought i'd try my iPhone. After many tries in the heat I just couldn't get it so gave up and then tried later in the evening when it was cooler and got it in one take. Once Pro Tools sorted I transferred recording in and did a mix and added FX and some strings. Enjoy, peace out.

Sounds like an arduous journey went into creating this one, but the results sound worth it to me.  The strings add a nice subtle touch.

This is very nice, your voice is just the right pitch.

Touching vocals. This song needs no additional stuff, it's cool as it is. Also, interesting final.

so pretty!
