Toroids

My computer kept bluescreening, so I didnt get as far as I'd like, I uploaded a version I wasnt too happy with.
I really wanted to keep jamming since I had a pretty expressive setup with the nano kontrol on this one. With the right kind of drums I think it could become a pretty nice patch.

-- later that night I decided to load it back up and play around, I the bluescreens seemed to be because I had set my thread count too high, set it back down to 1 and it ran stable, so I did a new recording and took my time, no time for percussion still but I was really happy I had the time to do a new recording.

Windows I presume? Why are you tinkering with threads? I like the tone and that you did not play too safe. Percussion could definitely lead to something. Can you apply the same control to a percs patch? The interplay might get really interesting.
Nice work!

Thank you!

Yeah on windows in VCV rack there is a setting on how many threads you want it to use, I think the underlying issue might be with my ram, based on what I googled from my mini dump. But setting to 1 thread seems to have fixed it and didnt affect the audio.

Yeah I think if I did percussion the triggers would be derived from the main event logic, thats usually how all my (and most people's) vcv rack patches go, everything is a self referential mess hehe.

really nice, drums would be awesome. Sorry to hear about the computer issues, glad you got it worked out well enough to get something recorded.

Cool sounds, would love to have heard what you did with percussion - Windows issues... ugh, my DAW (or some of the plugins) will stop responding on the regular, I have learned to save A LOT to combat the menace.
