station 45

Eerie, especially with the drone photo. The distorted voices in the background are a nice touch!

Dark drone music. How did you record this?

I love that you title some of your tracks with 'station' plus a number, it feels like i am either listening to a radio 'station' in space, or visiting a space 'station', and as i sink into the feel and momentum of your work, it also alters my own 'station' in life: feels like a kind of cybernetic uplink of this interaction between organic life, and the inorganic remnants of signals transmitted and exchanged across the cosmos.

Very interesting soundscape!

I was scanning random webSDR frequencies and recorded a bunch of interesting segments, then i brought them all into VCV rack and explored them with some quadpanners and different mixing modules, i also had some accompanying noise genrator and oscillator and some granulation on some of the audio

I am touched that you enjoyed it, thank you for your kind words. Thats definitely the sort of vibe I was getting when I was working on it. Im working on a video for this (maybe the other station, i cant decide) and its basically going to be about scanning the void/skies and remnants.
