calculated combat

This week, a friend wanted me to try making an JRPG styled battle theme. I wanted to go the more orchestral route for my take on the idea, but I don't really have that many good sounding orchestral libraries or instruments to use. As such, I just went with the best I have.

This song loops once fully and then fades out on the second loop. In reality, it's only about 2 minutes long.

The song was initially titled "to swear on one's honor as a knight" (you can tell by the URL), but I thought that that sounded way too intense and important for what the song actually feels like.

Project time: 2 hrs, 47 min.

double commmmennnnnnttttt

i actually really liked the instruments, I mean, they are consistent with an older video game's limitations.  great job!  cool to see the session.

Very catchy and joyful battle theme, truly spot on

Fitting title too, as it feels kinda victorious from the get-go.

Very intense, very suitable for a mid-boss at least
