phliip - elevate

This track came together very quickly and I intentionally left it quite minimalist to make space for a vocalist. I always have this feeling that I can do more; and I often have to remind myself that completion is more important than perfection. I regularly feel like I am directionless and that I’m not pushing myself creatively; but then all of a sudden the pieces fit into place and I feel this strange satisfaction at making progress in increments.

The swing beat and staccato strings bring me back to Bittersweet Symphony.  This definitely has its own flavor though.  Nice work!

Pretty neat crescendo here, and quite well spaced. I could see some vocals here, although the track works by itself.

I started doing "instrumentals" for a long time until I got tired of finding MCs both interested and interesting smile Hope you have good collaborators. They can make or break a good track.
