Yeeeooooo!
I'm super honoured that THE Grishin has entrusted me with this weeks upload. I've been a friend and fan of his for a long time and after probably hundreds of hours on the phone during lockdown, our relationship has grown from "just put a compressor on it Luke" to "I'm disappearing for two weeks, can you please share two tracks on my weekly beats blog?"
I will apologise in advance, because I am the farthest thing from a sound designer/ neurohop/ future bass/ electronic genius producer like our trusty friend in common Philly the Grish. I am a folk, indie, singer songwriter that records what Phil enjoys calling 'pop filth'.
We have however been diving deep into it and have been working on some tracks together, so I have added one or two plugins to my collection, taken a recording of a violinist that I had in for a session a few years ago playing slightly out of tune, chucked a few compressors on it, and had a good old go.
