I see you put « rock » in your tags: I don’t know if it was intentional but the track gave me vibes of nostalgic instrumental metal/post rock - I was expecting overdriven guitars to show up at some point! Congrats
I knew I would like this from the very first notes. Chiptune-adjacent against the high-fidelity chimes, it was only a matter of time for this to open up AND THEN IT DID. Yeah, very cool shit. And the razorsharp dubsteppy buzzing noises stand in for guitars pretty well. This kind of stuff is very much up my alley. I would personally add the chugging guitars in from 2:17 onward, but that's neither a nitpick nor a suggestion. Just saying I'm identifying with the track and it's easy for me to imagine how I'd work with it.
Good stuff, looking forward to more track in this flavor.
This feels very good to listen to, like all the sounds layered like that does something with the body as a system. Very cool.
Love your sound design/sound selection. So cool how this grows, man. Quest is the perfect title too.
