How can this be real (instrumental)

By Phil Harmonic on January 29, 2012 4:29 pm

Man.. I was in the process of recording the vocals for this.. but I cant keep my eyes open any longer so im releasing the instrumental version. Basically.. the song is about being asleep and having bizzare dreams and wondering how what you are experiencing could be real and then coming the the same realization while awake. When I finish the vocal version Ill post a link ;>

This is awesome. Love the pizzicato groove. Very nicely done!

This is really pretty smile Like a lot!

Sweet.

about halfway through it got me. nice work.

@vinpous: the pizzacato is one of the pizzacato hits from the old cosmo-d cello set wink always love those sounds.

@george: was it the beat that got you or the chord changes?

mmm, verb.  smile   Nice piece.

hope you had a good sleep.  The vibes and bass both played well off each other!  Very curious to hear vox on this too :-)

Nice. Digging the fever dream feel.

Pizzzzziiiiicatoooooo! Yes! Super cool.

Interesting harmonic twists about halfway through.  I'd be interested to hear it if you do add vocals at some point.

Very good! My favorite track of your playlist (for the moment wink )

This is fantastic. Love all the sounds going on here. The pizzicato at the beginning sounds really good. The change around half way was nice, added some cool character to the piece. Love it!
