Dig the slower-moving vibe, almost hypnotic and very chill. The glide at 1:20 was way cool!
This reminds me of a Zelda Dungeon that is constantly changing. Goes from dark and brooding, to hopeful and cheerful, and back without ever sounding out of place.
Weird and stately at the same time - I agree, sounds like a zelda dungeon
Appreciate the comments and praise y'all!
Funny thing about this one, I worked out the main phrase and two or three variations at a way higher temp, something like 120 bpm. It wasn't sitting right though, so I tweaked it... and just kept tweaking it until I was all the way down to 16 bpm, haha. Clicked around there and went off in this drifting, melancholic, direction.
Zelda dungeon wouldn't have occurred to me, but I can hear that now that you've said it!
