PARABOLA

This week's song is inspired by some Berlin School music I've been listening to recently, although I won't try to claim this is a Berlin School track. I only discovered Berlin School after someone left a comment on one of my earlier submissions and I've been kinda enjoying listening to it.

Anyway, this is mostly M8 synths this week with the exception of the lead, which I played on a Hydrasynth into the M8 sampler. Maybe some of the percussion is from samples too.

It's getting hard to find time to write music with the weather getting nice around here lately and the sun setting later in the day ... I kinda want to be outside without a device most of the time. We'll see how it goes the next few weeks ...

Ooohhh this sounds so cool!!! This feels like the soundtrack to the "at home" portion of a game where you control crew of space pirates. I can totally see a menu with rocket propulsion upgrades to choose from. So laid back but still a hint of "the voyage will be rocky, so fare carefully". Really nice balance here, beautifully done!

Thank you! I hope to experiment with this style a bit more in the future. I can definitely feel the space game vibe you mention.
