First ever track completed on my M8 ... or anywhere for that matter. I wanted to stick with a simple theme throughout, with, ah, determination. Mostly M8 synths. I think percussion and perhaps a wispy drone were samples, but everything else is M8. Would love some constructive feedback if you made it to the end and are here reading this!

What a fantastic first track, the synthwork is amazing and you probably could have just released with without the drums, my critique is your drum selection, the kick is not a great kick to me, and its fairly noticeable there is no kick under the snare. I'd find some more club style kick, get it driving 4 on the floor. get the drums glued in a bit more. With the right right drums this would be a certified banger.

Thank you so much! I think drums are definitely a weak spot for me ... I'm not really sure what I'm doing once I get past "something that sounds like a drum line" lol. I'm going to work on that though! Thank you.

Nice work. Listening with my 9 year old daughter beside me and she says “I like this music” - so that’s good! I like it, really nice work on the synths. It seems to come together nicely at around the 3 minute mark. For me the kicks when they first come in sound odd - like they didn’t match the rhythm of the synths. Good work!

That's a big compliment that your daughter likes the song! Thanks for the feedback. Based on comments I will probably revisit this one in the future and redo the drums, so hopefully it'll come together better next time around.
