Swedish Pines

By Pescadito on February 25, 2024 8:34 pm

Hi all! Did not have much time this week. I just came back today from a shot trip to Sweden so I thought about about including some recordings from the forest. There is also a recording from a gardening session. The guitar I recycled from an older idea with an open tuning.

Everything is recorded on my phone and put together in bandlab.

Not the best week in general, but I still wanted to contribute somehow.

Great playing! I like the sound of this one! Phone guitar recordings have a vibe of their own. The sound is clear yet nicely textured. Did you do anything to it or it's how the phone captured it?

Interesting choice of effects on the ambient recording, feels like it's in a cave big_smile

I like the meandering playing. Feels like there are some nice themes that can be extracted from it, but overall I can't put a finger on a melody or specific theme. How did you make it, was there a particular theme or just general playing around with the tuning on top of a chord progression? Maybe I'm putting too much thought into it big_smile thx for sharing!

i love the water running in the background, it just sets the right mood on the song for me big_smile

really enjoy this style of guitar playing. well done!
