This goes out to all eastern bloc truckers!
Can't say why, but while developing this week's song i got into a kind of russian vibe. big_smile

Field recording in the beginning is from freesound.org: trucker in his truck cabin watching a bad russian and polish translated movie smile

Hope you guys enjoy! Looking forward to what you think about it!

I love the track! I don't know if I'd trust Sergej to give me a ride home though... I've seen enough Russian Dashboard cam videos to know that's a bad idea. I really appreciate the work you put up on WB! It definitely keeps my head in the game.

Great work. I'm usually not a fan of 4 on the floor beats, but it works well with the textures and melody in your track. Great mix and mastering as usual. I like it!

Really like the way the steady beat anchors the blip & bleep melody. I hope the trucker wasn't watching the movie while he was driving (!)

Slamming! Drums are mega-crisp, especially the bass drum just sits perfectly in the mix. How you manage to have so much intricate detail without it turning into a mess is beyond me, much respect! smile

The feeling is mutual! smile Keep up the outstanding work!

thank you so much! But i have to admit, this one is a bit messy in the end. I'm an expert in overloading my tracks (at least most of the time). But WB helps me a lot in disciplinng myself. Less time means less mess for me smile

freesounds is an awesome place and also a great way to find you've just downloaded a bunch of sounds hours later! smile  I agree with the above comments, the beat sits perfect in the mix.  I don't really think it's a typical 4 on the floor beat.  Mainly because it's not the BOOTS N PANTS N BOOTS N PANTS smile  I like that filtered synth that comes in midway and the way it slowly opens up.  Groovy track! smile

Dude, that ending is gorgeous! Nice track btw wink

This is most excellent. Fuck yeah, let's dance!
