Inspired by the wonderful work of wb fellow Sub Delay i got a Volca Bass the other day and had only some hours to play with it yet. Still figuring out what this little machine is capable of but it's great fun already. Became a little tired of turning virtual software knobs lately and searching for some small affordable analog gear. Any recommendations?

Excellent growliness. I agree about real knobs.

more november for my soul. great track. awesome sounding. thanks!

the korg monotron are very inexpensive and sound great (although the headphone out jack and no 1/4" is kinda annoying). other than that, Korg has an excellent line of cheap analog synths that sound wonderful including the volca series of course. this track sounded really great!

Wow, thanks for the mention! smile
And let me just say this is one of my favorite tracks of yours so far, and you have so many great ones to choose from! smile
Especially love what you are doing in the high end with the subtle clicks and glitches, and the bass drum just sits so well as always.

The only analog gear I have is from Korg's line of affordable "synth toys". I second agree with george bowles that the Monotron series sound great and they're a lot of fun too (if a bit hard to play!!), and as I mentioned I just bought the Volca Beats and Keys while in Japan! big_smile
I'm kind of in a similar situation where I'm wanting to move away a bit from virtual stuff, but can't really warrant splashing out on expensive analog synths hmm
The Microbrute looks really tempting though...

This is awesome.  Great filter resonance!  Excellent variety of sounds with the synth, drum, and spacious glitch piano, and I love the continually surprising structure.

Your production quality is immaculate. I don't know how you manage it + a great picture each week.
Thank you based glitch god.
