Number Station of Rage

By perman00b on October 27, 2024 10:51 pm

Had to channel some rage this week so went back to my roots with a bit of an industrial turn. Working title: “Trent did it better.”

Very much a work in progress. Spent three or so days on it, by far the most I’ve accomplished in that timeframe for as long as I’ve been doing this. Would love to have spent more time on it, but family has been keeping me busy.

I have fixed and tweaked several things since this recording, but won’t have a chance to re-record before the deadline, so it is what it is.

Stuff:
Percussion and melody: Syntakt
Samples: Digitakt
Bass lines: Minitaur
Sequencing: Hapax
Piano: Tangerine’s factory piano multisample

I hope this served as a good outlet to that rage. Nobody deserves to carry that crap around 🫂

I'm not sure if I've ever been able to channel it into my own music, but it sounds like it would be a good exercise.

Anyways, this does indeed feel super gritty and intense, industrial and heavy. I like it!

Don't try to be the best Trent you can be, be the best you and own up to being an imitation Trent
