Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.

Week 17 is as good as any to start.

Trying really hard to not overthink it. Came up with a simple pattern on the Volca Beats to test a new mixer setup, added the Recovery Effects Mystic as a second channel, and ended up liking it. So I added some FX (custom HX Stomp patch on the Mystic, Light Pedal on the drums in feedback mode) and added a FreaqFM for some melodic elements. Nothing is in sync. That would have taken effort.

I really like the minimalistic vibe. Your "not over thinking it" is doing it's job. Sometimes it feels laid back, but every now and then I get a twinge of "there's something lurking around that corner". Great combo, really nice job smile
