This week I've got some Bastl Softpop 2 bass with some Polyend Tracker drums. I love how juicy the filter on the SP2 is. I didn't go too crazy there, and the beat doesn't really match the bassline, but whatever. I'm embracing the wonky factor this week. The drum samples are from a variety of sources but sampled some of them myself specifically for this composition using a Korg Volca Drum. The delay effects are Arturia VSTs added afterward.

I love the Polyend Tracker!

Some seriously squidgy bass synth on this one. Nice work!

Thanks for checking it out! I hope to employ the Softpop 2 more often.

The tom based drum solo parts are killer! Never heard about the Softpop before, looks like a fun synth.

Oh man, yeah, I love the SP2 and Bastl in general. It's semi modular (but not eurorack compatible without a custom adapter), pretty weird, and can do some wild noise stuff. Definitely worth looking into. Loopop has a review.
