Experimenting w textural background vocals and various types of distortion.

I would legit listen to an album of songs like this.  Love the vibes on this and the production.

Also, how'd you find a gif that perfectly describes what this sounds like?!  :3

i really love your production quality. nice mods in the beginning, subtle vocal use and how the song really picks up. did you record all the guitar and voice parts yourself?

great job overall!

I love this mix of soothing and energetic. Beautifully done.

am i melting on the wormhole of distortion beautifully cyberspace?

Hey thanks! I have a couple of tracks in the works with a similar sort of style, maybe someday I'll be able to compile and album's worth. Interested in applying shoegaze aesthetics to more electronic production methods.

And yeah for the gif I just searched for analog tv distortion/noise and it popped up, agreed that it seems to match really well though hahah.

Thanks! I recorded the voice parts through a laptop mic because my DI wasn't working, and the guitar parts are sampled from a Plums song. Everything else is tortured synths and drum kits within Ableton.

haha thanks orangedrink! yeah was worried that that part was a bit abrupt, but it's grown on me.

Oh man this is really cool. The distorted textures work *really* well. Definitely has a shoegazey vibe going on. Make more!

ohhhh i looove the atmosphere in this song, always good to hear that shoegaze detune going on

I love the kaleidoscopic thick swirl this track has to it.  Also dig that destructive ending with the pretty guitar, nice job!
