Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

So usually these beats are my ten-year-old daughter and me collaborating. But this week my five-year-old son came to me with this GarageBand project, pretty much as you hear it here. (I just added a couple FX hits and mixed it.) He said he wanted to make some music for a video game he's working on.

This is pretty amazing stuff for a 5-year old. Will need to play for my 9-year old Minecraft addicted son for inspiration. Good melody. Definitely sounds game ready!
