Anthony's Triumphant But Short Lived Return

Hope everyone is doing well!

The wedding was awesome and I finished all the music for the ceremony.

Anyway, back to my heavy nonsense.  We have drums for 4 songs, and a new singer who has 5 songs done.

This is the 9th song Ive got written, and can't wait to put together a record here in the near future

The bridge for this song is one of the most intense things I've ever written.  Can't wait to keep doing it.

Solid production, those guitars are awesome. There is something that reminds me of Billy Talent.

Congrats on the wedding!

Well done.

Rock on!

sick prog rock! great sound and tight playing! very busy 3 minutes without much breathing space, but lots of interesting areas, def going into the favorites and needs some more re-listens! great job!

Congratulations, hope it's going to be as solid as an ingot of only the heaviest of metal.

Thanks dude!  Our singer hasn't been able to get the chorus out of his head.  Looking forward to finally releasing some music next year

I've gone to the dark side.  More Heavy!

Hahaha honestly what a way to return. Fuckin bravo.
Savage opening riff. Love it. Off kilter unstable vibe, carries into the next section and this just keep you guessing, but still gets rolling.
Love when it hits that speed punk riff. More savage riffs and awesome lead bits.
The break at 2:27, LOVE that guitar tone there (please tell me how?). Coulda maybe done with more of this somehow. But take nothing away. So much good about this. Insane changes. Fuckin A.
The production sounds awesome.

Oh, and congrats on the wedding!

Thank you so much for the thorough listen. This one was an absolute blast to put together and play.

I've been working with this singer for months, so I've been able to write to his strengths.  I do have some layers to add, but keeping things simple so I don't influence his melodies.

As for the sound at 2:27, it's a Kemper profile I found of the Green Channel on my Revv. It honestly sounds like some DI is coming through, but I'd have to double check that.  Thought it sounded perfect, and ran with it.

I've got multiple instrumental bits for this project, and they're gonna live in that mid gain range.

love the ascending section that starts at around :37 so catchy and fun. certified banger.

That's the chorus.  Got stuck in our singer's head immediatly too.

Really trying to mesh two song writing styles that I love.  Angry and catchy.

Thanks for the listen.  Hopefully we'll have the record done by WB2026 tongue
