Anthony is Still in the Hospital

Surgery was a success. A very long success.
I was in surgery for 13 hours (instead of the estimated 4-6). They removed the calcified lymph nodes as per plan. These cells were blocking function of my left kidney, and encasing my left Ureter. Once in there, they determined that the left kidney was too far deteriorated to save, and removed as well. Unfortunately, a section of my Aorta was also covered with these calcified cancer cells, so they removed the aortic bridge, and built me a synthetic artery.
All that went as smooth as it could. Unfortunately, being knocked out for 13 straight hours in whatever position they had me on the table led to some nerves in my legs being damaged. Immediately after surgery, I could not feel anything from my hips to my shins on the front of my legs. They've gotten better every day, but I'm learning to walk again from scratch. I probably have another week on the PT floor before I get to go home.
So all that being said, I downloaded a sequencer on my phone and wrote this so I didn't miss a week. I've been wanting to write some chill stuff like this. Now that I know how to use the app, hopefully next week is even better.
