The power of a mask (SN79489/Sega Master System)

After a compo recently held in CulturaChip (http://culturachip.org/compos/?r=6) based on Sega Master System sound chip, the SN79489, I got a little bit lazy and I didn't uploaded nothing past week, but just because I was attending another compo, so my 8th week track is in there =P
So experimenting with Delek's Deflemask multi-system tracker (http://www.delek.com.ar/deflemask), I decided to give this chip another chance to push it to the limits, because is a very limited chip itself, but Deflemask makes it easy. The most challenging part was the bass line, because is made with the noise channel, and I have to keep on changing noise channel mode, a little bit tricky but nice sounding. At the end I got lazy again, but this tracks pretty much done in a rush show what I wanted to test of this chip.
For those who likes to check what I've done (I used few effects to achieve percussion and bass, but not much on the melody lines =P) you can found along the Deflemask module, a SMS rom to play this track on your SMS with flashcart or emulator, or vgm for old-skool media players here: http://vieju.net/pakzer0/public_html/mierda/PaK-Zer0_-_The_power_of_a_mask.zip
