Generative chainsaw

By PaK-Zer0 on February 12, 2012 9:46 pm

A PaK-Zer0 track in one of my most pure forms, illustrating the orgin of the shape of AntropofobiA's sound (my prog/art metal band).

Produced with Audacity, my V-amp stomp box, and recorded in a fast rush. The drums are triggered by a modified pure data patch of generative drums. Sometimes I can get a little bit off time, but there's full of polyrythm, broken signatures and other forms of King Crimson plagiarism.

Dedicated to my band, which is in an induced comma, after our bassist, drummer and lead singer left the combo. We'll keep it going but there's a long way to go to be back as a strong unit.

Now with more cowbell!

bbaaddaassss!

awesome guitar! do you have a link to your band's material?

@george bowles: Of course dude! www.antropofobia.com is our homepage, a wordpress blog. But if you want to go straight to the music you can go to http://antropofobia.bandcamp.com

I know for a career spanning more than 10 years, only a 4 track EP recorded is less, but that's all the chances we had to record ourselves, appart from live gigs. We've been tryingi to recourd our 1st LP with the last combo, but things didn't go well =P

Cool riffs.  Definite King Crimson vibe but that's fine.  I love King Crimson  smile
