An end of a beginning

By PaK-Zer0 on January 29, 2012 12:15 am

This may be an end, but there's always a beginning.

Well, this is an old idea I had about trying to do a more classical chiptune track, but with a more hard hitting drums, also maed for a very easy key to play in the most of the instruments, so i'll try some live arranges in the future.

Also it has:
    * My 1st effort to achieve a saw nes-like sound for the bass, I had to clip a little bit the wave to make it present above the drums and the pulse channels.
    * And my 1st voice part in a lsdj track.

Maybe a little bit reppetitive, but I like the vibe smile

(all last minute! xD)

Nice panning! This really shows off your chord/melody theory skillz. Good one, now get your ass back on the pig already. tongue

I like both of the sections (verse and chorus?) and how they flow into each other.  The drums are good and I like the slides in the melody line.  As you said, it is perhaps a little repetitive, but it's still a good track.

lol i just love bleos comments, and this track has some smurfalous arps!

Yeah, nice arps up in this joint.  Instead of clipping your wave to get it up to volume, just lower the other channels. My pulse and noise channels are rarely above the 80s for volume so I can get a nice loud saw wave and sine kick.  wink Nice track nonetheless.
