° Ambient drone with a pulsing bass, slowly expanding by layers of vocal choirs and effects in high- and low- frequency range.
° The title refers to the history of backwards masking or backmasking. When a satanic panic swapt across the US in the 70's and 80's christian woman-circles sat down and listen to rock band albums. In their search for coded and hidden messages (to Satan) that could be revealed by using the technique of backwards masking - manually playing the vinyls backwards - they listen to the outcoming "results" ... most of them wild interpretations and speculations.
° The sample was spoken by Laura Huxley, widow of Aldous Huxley, the famous british author who wrote 'Island' and 'Heaven and Hell'.
° The original orthodox chant is 'Lauda Sion Salvatorem', sung by the cathedral of St. john the Divine, in New York.
