Sweat! I'm glad you liked the track. I used Aaliyah's "Rock the Boat" and I think a little bit of Melba Moore.
I hardly knew anything either when Mr. Mort and I decided on the challenge, luckily all of my room mates were in to that stuff during middle and high school.

I think the texture was part of Aaliyah's sample. Is that what you were referring too?
