House Idea

This week we tried to mess with a house style kind of track. Not enough time on this one..

Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Indeed, untypically straightforward for you, quite fast too, but very effective. Is that your voice? Or a sample of something I should know? Have downloaded it, might play it this weekend!

haha glad you like it bruh! And it's my gurl Nina Simone I believe. Well mr. mort and I were trying something more straightforward in order capture this soulful energy house always seems to have. I'd say we need some work capturing it still hehe

I agree.
Thanks for the honest opinion guys Yeah we weren't too fond of how straightforward it was but this was just a little exercise on capturing the essence of house music lol
