I took a guitar line and the vocals from last week's track and put them in this one! This was mainly an exercise for me to learn more about the Digitakt and the JU-06A (Juno reissue module). Had a lot of fun, but lots of headscratching and instruction manual reading. 160bpm for that footwork feel. I figured out how to use conditional triggers to add a little spontaneity for the clap, cowbell, and hi-hat patterns. I cut this song time about 30 seconds down because I realize it was droning on for too long without real development. Feels good to truncate it and get to the point. I love the warble sound you can get with the Juno!
Couldn't figure out how to get the keyboard working with the Juno, but that's for another time. I played the chords by putting "auto chord" on and pressing the buttons on the module itself.
I can't believe this is week two and I'm already behind on listening to people's tracks and leaving replies to comments! Thanks for listening and your positive feedback.

Definitely got that footwork vibe and I dig the warble synth. Nice work
Ooo this is a lovely wavy tune, love how the pitch wow absolutely sends you flying
Love the wavy pad! 8-|
Sweet af serving for week 2... you did good kid... you did real good.
Nice work on the Digitakt, love this machine. Might steal some of these ideas....
oooh. makes me want to bust out my juno 106 for next week
It didn't feel long but what was necessary to get the point across. You cut it's length down well. Thanks for sharing. This reminds me of something I'd hear as a child mixed with my more recent understanding of these sounds, which would be a weird scene from a movie where someone is tripping on illicit drugs.
Feels like you're taking us to a higher plane!
Learning new skills on new machines or software is the best part of the game.
Really cool new territory and exploration. I like how it comes together from the sparse somewhat disjointed beginning and halfway through really meshes together and takes off. The guitar lines in the background soaking through in swells are my fav part.
The pulsing pad sounds are super sweet And drums are crazy i love the part where you filtered out the base...
this is a new sound i haven't heard from you, i'm likin' where you are going with the layering of synths & vocals
Oh yais! Loving that warm warbly juno sound especially as the filter comes in. The beat has a life all it's own too. High five!
Awesome tune, tight drums and funky as hell !!!
fully caffeinated XD
I just imagine myself walking though a castle turning around to see a a monster as I'm running away the suspense keeps changing around ever corner. Also can't believe it's been a year since we hung out
