Random thoughts while watching this video:
* Frank's flannel shirt is genre appropriate
* Wow I love this guitar tone, just the right mix of clean and dirt!
* The woof woof sample right before the guitar solo! That makes it clear that this is an homage to the departed. What a beautiful way to express it, the lyrics take a whole different meaning
* The destruction of the environment at the end is again genre appropriate. I notice you did so in a rather respectful manner, though. None of that hurricane of destruction that Kurt would unleash on the drum kit.
Good pop song, this will stay in my head!
Wow. Instantly a new favorite.
There's nothing quite like a kick-ass Orange Drink track. Your chord progressions are really something else.
love the tight drumming and the original grunge you are keeping up. wonderful job.
I always love your weekly beats it's like the ultimate combo breaker. Hope your travels into the psyche are progressing
Wow! Better than Harvey Danger (and they are one of my favorites)!
Strangely (or this is WB in action) this is one of the pieces that I spent the least amount of time, but it might be my favorite. But maybe it's all the lessons from all the previous WBs landing at the same time. Thanks for everyone's enthusiasm this late in the year! I'm still trying to catch up with everyone's work and responses

- we definitely intentionally picked that shirt
- one of the first times that I double tracked the guitars with a distortion track and a clean track!
- I should expect this from you by now, but I’m so shocked that you “got it”. Amazing. I was actually going to put pictures of Diez in the video, but felt like it was too “over the top” - thanks for validating that discovering this could be a special experience for the listener/viewer
- lol I didn’t want to hurt Frank, but I had to be punk rock, so this is my “grandpa” version of polite destruction. 100% Kurt inspired, 100% the inside CD cover of the Bleach album.
- someone on YouTube asked “why did you tear the backdrop down?”
Wow. <3 Instantly a new favorite.

Getting a chord progression compliment SPECIFICALLY FROM YOU is so C R A Z Y! I can’t believe it. I don’t even understand what I did, but I felt it in my heart. Next year I’m going to learn theory, I mean it!!
Wow! Frank is killing it on the drums! I don't think he deserves the mattress on the head for that amazing performance!

Frank was awesome!!

Thank you so much, Q! I specifically appreciate the drumming comments, I feel like I got the “pocket” on this one, despite having to play to a metronome. It’s weird to feel like you have to simultaneously honor and disregard the metronome for the best feel, as a one-person-band.
thats your best one so far imho. total earworm!
MGI! I super appreciate it, and I am inclined to agree! Not sure how but something magic happened.
I always love your weekly beats it's like the ultimate combo breaker. Hope your travels into the psyche are progressing
Thank you buddy, I appreciate you so much. Thank you for the Killer Instinct reference (hopefully intended) - the travels into the psyche are indeed progressing. I might have to make a video where I talk about the thread of my life and how it impacted every song and the “emotional evolution” - glad my WBs bring some fun into your life!
Wow! Better than Harvey Danger (and they are one of my favorites)!
WHOA WHOA WHOA
First of all I LOVE HD, so thank you thank you thank you
Second of all I LOVE YOU you are so kind and I appreciate your comment.
HD had such great passion and articulate expression! ugh I miss them.
Super catchy vocals that had me humming along. Love the sound of the guitar on this too. Gave me some STP vibes as well.. Rock on!
Man, this is so good, but you are aware emails exist, right?
Nice tribute to Diez though.

You can do it! But I actually think you've got a solid knack for it already. I'm a sucker for rich harmonies and chord progressions, and it's crazy how many of your songs scratch that itch in unique ways. That's one of my favorite things about the tracks you make (alongside the sheer walls of sound, the driving rhythms, and the hard-hitting lyrics and melodies). Keep up the great work!
I dig the distortion and the raw garage rock feel of this one. Catchy melody, too!
Cool ruff ruff sample! Very tight track overall. I didn't understand the lyrics from just listening to it except the last chorus "send me a postcard let me know u ok". Good indie punk sound overall, fav part for me is the way it goes from regular to the chorus around 0:35, not sure what goes on there but it's like another layer of guitars comes in. Maybe it's the cymbals actually! And then I like the way it fizzles out a couple times like you're unsure the message was clear enough then u play some more to make sure Anyway nice work as always!
Catchy song, hooked me, guitar sounds great, love the lyric. Fave on the video is frank drumming, so cool, I cracked up a bit. You performance was awesome of course too. great idea, that.
Powerful song, great lyrics, very nice touch with the “woof woof”, you looked intense at the end, almost thought you were about to smash your guitar.
