Two Violet Lines

By onezero on August 5, 2018 4:31 pm

Another in-the-box piece for this week.  For this one, I used a drum rack of Analog synths for drums, synthesizing all of the percussion (and putting them through Drum Buss).  There's a channel of Analog for bass, two organ-like lines in Operator, and a gong in Collision.  Lots of use of Echo for sends, as well as a simple delay, and a convolution reverb for space.  Everything got full-chain master, and the two Operator and one Collision channels got some auto-pan.

Title from the spectrogram signature of gallium, element 31.

Powerful and punchy.

Thank you, Jim!

And apologies for slacking off on the listening for the last several weeks.  I should be able to resume contributing comments soon.

so many nice textures here - lovely piece!

Nice groove heart That sin wave line is lovely. The percussion, that drum reverb and those delays are all done so tastefully, this is great
