This week expanded to seven tracks. I had a few syncopated rhythms in mind, and put down two tracks of Ableton's 64-pad Rock Kits, with two other Drum Racks--one of single hits of hand drums I have, and one of hand claps. Some of these got some delay and reverb, while the one drum kit got only reverb. All MIDI instruments got about 20ms of Max Humanizer.

To respond to these, I brought out the PureSalem Mendiola, and put that through the Balls Effects KWB--one track with more gain, one with less (and rhythm pickup only). I tracked fretless guitar, but ended up not using any, and finally tracking Epiphone P-J bass, with the usual low-end rolloff.

This is mostly a groove piece--not a lot of tricky stuff in there, though I did go through several clips and cut out notes for variations.

Title comes from the fact that 35 is the number of quasigroups of order 4.

why does the drum reverb sound like hits on water?  it's a cool sound

Excellent! I think those watery ones are from the samples I made of a couple different hand drums I have. One of them (the real ringy one) is this tiny little drum from India with this long resonance--it's strange how big it sounds.

Groovy.

This is groovy.  I like the panning
