Peculiar Earth

By onezero on September 23, 2018 6:35 pm

More intensity this week, but I managed to get a more guitar-oriented track out this week.  Drums: Drum Rack of 606 samples through Drum Buss. Keys: Ableton Tension instrument on CelestaClav preset. Bass: Epiphone P-J with EQ8 roll-off and Cabinet plugin. Guitars: two channels of Res-O-Glas through Vox Wah and Mike Carey tremolo pedal (and then Auto-Filter and Cabinet), Epiphone Moderne through Reuss RF-01 Repeater Fuzz, Vox Wah, and Mike Carey tremolo.

Sends: two different convolution reverb spaces, two different instances of Ableton Echo. Full-chain master (flat) on everything.

Title from the writings of Thomas Charles Hope, confirming Adair Crawford's identifying Strontium as a new element.

Nice syncopation and instrumentation.

Really nice groove, loving that bass and those punchy beats.

that tremolo is the real winner here!  great groove.
