Back to 4-track. By the end of the week, I had a couple drum loops done, and not any other sense of direction. I thought I'd return to structuring the piece around bass before guitar, and then found a few bass lines that worked as a second melody, instead of going with guitar for a higher voice. It still needed something, so I added some keys (Ableton Electric), and...call it done. Kind of a groove piece, but tricky to get it together, as simple as it is.
Drums: Ableton's 32 Pad Kit Special, with Drum Buss and a little Max Humanizer. Keys: Electric (MkII3 Old Piano). Bass: Epi P-J. Both channels got some EQ-8 bass cut, but the right channel gets a bit more.
Sends: two convolution reverbs (one a larger room, one with just open mic air), one channel of Echo. Full-Chain processing on the output.
Title comes from 37 being both the fifth lucky prime and first irregular prime.

I might want a little more low-mid cut on the bass, because the mellow tone of the keys compete a little bit. Very cool track title, I never heard of a lucky prime before.
I like the drum delay!
For anyone else reading: here's a gif from Wikipedia showing the elimination process for lucky primes. The red ones are lucky primes, the purple ones are getting "eliminated" - warning: it takes a while!
Those drums are really good.
Definitely a lot of cool stuff going on in the rhythms. Sounds awesome. Loving the delay throws on the drums too!
