Great Red Line

While the week was slightly less busy than previous weeks, this one's still a simple one with three tracks of the same guitar (PureSalem Mendiola). A few snippets of the left-panned channel have some Vox Wah, but the rest are straight into the board, with some sonic variety from using different pickup combinations.
There are three sends: one larger convolution reverb, one smaller, and one Valhalla Supermassive. The stereo output got the usual Wide & Warm preset audio rack.
The title comes from a chain of association: PA Route 446 used to be a part of Route 6, which Jack Kerouac had intended as the route of his first transcontinental road trip...but it didn't work out. "It was my dream that screwed up, the stupid hearthside idea that it would be wonderful to follow one great red line across America instead of trying various roads and routes." (from On the Road) He kind of missed out--parts of this route are quite beautiful...but hitchhiking depends on traffic, and he hadn't encountered any westbound adventurers at Bear Mountain Bridge at night in the '40s.
