FOOF

A...complex week with some sudden developments that absorbed my attention.  This one started as a repetitive beat for me to listen to while I was doing the job search.  I thought I'd vocode the drums again on a send--Korg Minipops again. Vocoder carrier signal was a Mellotron sample.  I also put on Analog and grand piano (with modulating Auto-Filter), Epiphone bass (Cabinet and a bit of EQ-8 to cut lows and get them away from the kick), and two tracks of Epiphone Moderne (one through Reuss RF-01 fuzz and Vox Wah, one with just Vox Wah in a static position). I did put on Wavetable, but...it just ended up pulling those parts out when they sounded a bit too 8-bit.  (Kind of starting to wonder if I'm treading water a bit here. Might be time to shake things up some.)

Sends: Auto-Filter in front of Convolution reverb to cut lows, LFO band-pass Auto-Filter in front of Echo, and that vocoder.

The trick this time was arranging the parts into something that kind of flowed.  Title from an abbreviation of dioxygen difluoride, because fluorine is element 9.  And since the compound name is a palindrome, I threw in some backwards guitar.  (Also, as a compound...it barely hangs together, kind of like this track's structure.)

Also, if anyone has a connection to a web application software engineering position...get at me.
