Crystal Twin

A going on this week, so here's one that's fairly simple--just drums and guitar, with guitar recorded in a very short tracking session. Late in the week, I threw together some rhythms (Acoustified Drum Rack 04), and Friday night tracked some Univox hollow-body in modified Fahey C tuning (B F# B F# B D) through the EHX LPB2ube. I found melodic figures fairly quickly, and figured they'd be compatible, so arranged them late Saturday and early Sunday.
To clean up the mix, I used a bit of high-pass auto-filter on some guitar parts. Drums went through Drum Buss with the drive cranked up. Sends: one Echo (automation on the drum parts to send this at the ends of phrases), and two convolution reverbs. Full-chain master on everything.
Title from the crystalline structure of indium, which (like tin) emits a sound when you bend it.
